Chiropractic Care to help you move, and live better.

  • Hands-on care. Every session is one-on-one, 20-40 minutes of working directly with Dr. Kiely providing you manual therapy. We don’t rely on assistants, heat packs or machines.

  • The full story. We look beyond your immediate symptoms. We consider how past injuries may impact today’s problem, and look at the other areas of the body that may be contributing to your current issue.

  • Personalized results. Most people know within a couple of sessions if Dr. Kiely’s approach to chiropractic care and holistic health will be a good fit for them.

Your chiropractic visit

At Highlands Wellness in Kanata, we recognize how joint pain and soreness can hold you back from family adventures to peak performance at work or play. That’s why our chiropractic care is tailored just for you: combining hands-on care, targeted spinal and joint manipulation, dry needling and strength and mobility exercises to rebuild resilience. Whether you’re managing chronic pain, recovering from injury, or optimizing your performance, our personalized care plans and regular check-ins ensure you stay on track toward feeling your very best.

We also understand how frustrating it can feel to chase temporary relief without ever addressing the real issue. Our goal is to uncover the root cause of your discomfort—whether it’s poor movement patterns, stress on your spine, or old injuries that never fully healed—and create a plan that targets lasting results. Instead of masking pain, we help you restore balance, strength, and confidence so you can move forward without being held back.

  • Your first visit starts with a thorough assessment so we can understand your history, lifestyle, and goals. From there, we’ll map out a treatment plan that may include adjustments, electro-acupuncture/dry needling, soft tissue therapy, corrective exercises, and movement coaching. We progress at a pace that feels right for you.

  • From active families and weekend warriors to desk workers and athletes, our chiropractic care supports anyone dealing with back or neck pain, headaches, joint stiffness, or mobility challenges. We also work with people looking to improve performance, prevent injury, and stay active for the long term.

  • We believe in combining hands-on care with education and exercise. That means you’ll leave each session not just feeling better, but also with strategies you can use at home, at the gym, or at work to keep your progress going.

  • If pain or stiffness is keeping you from doing the things you love, it’s time to take action. Book your first chiropractic appointment today and start building the foundation for lasting relief, strength, and movement confidence.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Nope. It is safe for most patients to have their spines adjusted, but it’s not necessary in order to recover or feel better.

Fun fact - Dr. Josh doesn’t get his neck adjusted due to a congenital blocked vertebrae. Whether we include neck adjusting is purely based on your preference.

  • Definitely not.

Your care is tailored to your goals. For most acute injuries, we see significant improvement within 6-8 visits.

Sometimes patients have factors that are negatively influencing their health that we can’t completely remove. These factors could include work stress, kid stress, physical jobs, and previous injuries or trauma.

We do our best in these situations to tailor a wellness approach that suits the patient’s goals, budget and preferences.

  • When patients first come into the clinic, they are greeted by a squat rack and dumbbell rack. Dr. Josh values exercise and education and wanted to show this in the design of the clinic.

Thanks to our expertise in providing comprehensive musculoskeletal injury management, we can offer rehabilitation, strength training, and mobility, in addition to hands-on chiropractic care.
