Dr. Josh Kiely, DC
Josh started Highlands in 2024. He came home one day, and his wife said you’ve had a vision for a clinic for years, why not start it today. They had a son under 2 years old and were planning their second. It’s been a busy few years but what we’ve built at Highlands couldn’t wait. Kanata deserves athlete-focused, movement-centred, modern chiropractic care and massage therapy that doesn’t just feel like an assembly line… and that’s what we made.
Josh graduated from the University of Guelph, where he met his wife, before attending Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. During school he tree planted for 6 seasons, planting over a million trees, and learned how resilient the human body really can be. This experience shapes his approach to movement and rehab in practice.
What He Does
Josh works to make sure every patient gets the care they actually need. He listens carefully to understand each person's goals and what it's going to take to reach them, and his treatment is comprehensive. Each treatment is focused on restoring function and building resiliency rather than chasing symptoms.
His practice combines deep tissue muscle release, joint mobilizations and manipulations (adjustments), neurofunctional acupuncture, and strength and mobility work to create long-term change and address the root of the problem.
Beyond the Clinic
Outside the office, Josh spends his time with his family and their two dogs..
